Exhibition of Negro Achievement and Abolition Memorial is held at the Boston Public Library.

(Jan.) Sponsored by the League of Women in Community Service, the purpose of the month-long exhibit is to educate white Bostonians about the cultural accomplishments of African-Americans and to honor both white and black Boston abolitionists. James Weldon Johnson is the keynote speaker.
